Clean Water Project

The Clean Water Project (CWP) is a rural water quality initiative that provides technical and financial assistance to improve and protect water quality on your farm.

Local municipalities together with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs are offering cost-sharing grants to qualified landowners for best management practices that improve ground and surface water quality.  Financial assistance ranges from 50% to 70%, depending on the project.  Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) incentives cannot be used as matching dollars for a project.

Who Is Eligible
Farmers with land in Middlesex, Oxford or Perth Counties, the Cities of London or Stratford, or the Town of St. Marys may apply for funding.

Livestock Access Restriction to Watercourses *
* Livestock access restriction materials may be eligible for additional funding if installed by the landowner.
